Turkmenistan and UAE agree to expand partnership in gas sector

Within the framework of the World Government Summit, which is taking place in Dubai (UAE) from February 3 to 5, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, Director General of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber. 

Noting the constructive nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE in the gas sector, the parties discussed potential areas of cooperation with the aim of further expanding the partnership. 

At the meeting, an agreement was reached on further development and strengthening of cooperation through regular meetings and consultations between representatives of the two countries to ensure consistent interaction in priority areas.
